We paid for the ocean terrace view by the glass which in my opinion; is not needed. Eek! We ate up on the terrace this evening for a sunset dinner.

Waited 45 min just to get the correct menu. She'd asked for well done and did not want any pink in the center. I never thought in a trillion years that I'd have this kind of experience and pay so much for it, $300+.Everyone comes here for the outside patio and the view and the location.

She did not like her food at all but she also told me later that she did not want to ask for it to be remade for she feared that the wait staff or kitchen staff might do something to contaminate her food, and that we'd have to all wait for her to get her food re-made and so she didn't want us to wait for her.

3 stars is for the drinks and food- those were ok. Frommer's. Most of all our daughter was happy with the vegan gluten-free option which was beautifully presented. I called a head to reserve. Highly recommended. Main reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the birds... if you don't mind pelicans standing next to the glass and staring you down while you eat then you'll be fine. The food was… The cove doesn't look any different from the top.

The drinks, food and view were great!

The food looked nice but as mentioned earlier, we all went home with belly aches that left us in our restrooms for the rest of the night.

Nazi unconstitutional! We had the swordfish,  and the AMAZING Nimann ranch pork chop, each with accompanying veggies, a salad, and delicious strawberry shortcake. George’s at the Cove is the quintessential Southern California dining destination offering three distinct restaurant and bar concepts – one fine dining and two casual – with stunning ocean views and award-winning cuisine.
